Thank you Anthrodesk!

About a year ago, my back was killing me. No matter how I sat, no matter what chair I bought, my back was killing me.

If it wasn’t my back, it was my tailbone. If it wasn’t my tailbone, it was my neck. I literally went through a whole ergonomic assessment with my HR department to figure out how to solve my problems. I got a keyboard tray and everything! I had moments when I thought that maybe being a lawyer legit contributed to a disability; one in which I could no longer sit, thus resulting in my need to quit law and open a bakery LOL. Ok, kidding. Sort of.

But it did really get that bad. That’s when I knew it was time to explore other options. I always thought that standing desks were reserved for hippie-type, grass-eating and kombucha drinking people, but turns out they are actually for everyone, ha. Just turns out everyone was ahead of the game, and meanwhile I was sitting myself to death.

I started following AnthroDesk.com and wanted to give one of their desks a try. First of all, their customer service is on point. Some of the nicest people I have ever encountered. They offered me the opportunity to try their AnthroDesk: ErgoSpring Standing Desk Converter – Extra Wide and to give it a honest review.

I have to say that the desk arrived super quickly and was so easy to set up. I initially thought I’d need help putting it together but I was able to do it myself in all of 5 minutes! It literally was just two pieces to take out of the box and to assemble.

A few weeks later, Anthrodesk introduced their anti-fatigue mat. Some of my “insta friends,” i.e. friends on Instagram told me I had to give it a try. Standing barefoot or with shoes on is nice, but it’s so much better with Anthrodesk’s anti-fatigue mat. Here are a few photos of my mat:

Thankfully my work-from-home station is now complete thanks to Anthrodesk! I truly can’t thank them enough!
